  • Dr. Monika Malik, final year PG student was awarded at the 37th IPS conference, held at Kerala in 2009 for her paper presentation on “Overdentures – a step ahead in preventive Prosthodontics”.
  •  Dr. Reshu, 2nd Year PG was awarded for “prosthodontic management of deficient ridges” from 12th-14th Nov. 2010. at 38th Indian prosthodontic society confertence at Indore.
  •  Dr. Kriti, 2nd Year PG was awarded for “a step ahead in post and core technique for patients with limited interarch space” from 12th -14th Nov. 2010. At 38th Indian Prosthodontic Society conference at Indore.
  •  Dr. Shefali, was awarded for “Magnetic Overdenture- a case report” – at 13th IPS pg convention, Lucknow June 2011.
  • Dr. Reshu was awarded for “Serviceable Fpd –metallift” at 13th IPS pg convention, Lucknow June 2011.
  •  Dr. Kriti was awarded for “Andrew’s Bridge: -at 13th IPS pg convention”, Lucknow June 2011.

  • Interdepartmental case discussions are held at regular intervals to discuss special cases which need a multidisciplinary approach for successful treatment plan to rehabilitate the patient in the best possible way.
  • Dr. Harish Yadav has been invited as a guest speaker in various national and international conferences where he has presented lectures and papers on implants.
         a) Ideal Prosthetic Positioning in Implants – How critical? How Practical? – Paper at 13th IPS PG Convention, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in June 2011.

          b) Endoscopically-controlled Implant Dentistry – Paper at ISOI conference at Hyderabad in October 2011.

  • 24th Feb. 2011 CDE programs on Cast Partial Dentures – philosophy to reality. SGT Gurgaon, Dept. of Prosthodontics.
  •  Another CDE was held at AIIMS, Delhi where Dr. Bhola enlightened us on recent developments in implant dentistry. He discussed the techniques for preservation of extraction socket and their role in implant success. He specified the implant techniques to manage the failing or failed implant.
  •  “Implantology to computer aided design- the future is now’ by Dr. Ashish Kakkar in September 2008, he emphasized on the use of computers for a more accurate and precise implant placement.
  • We got an overwhelming response to a CDE titled “crown & bridge conventional to contemporary” by Dr. Mahesh Verma in Sept 2008. The lecture was not only attended by many but was also very well appreciated. It was very informative and imparted useful clinical tips. The lecture focused on various aspects of treatment planning, crown preparation, impression making; for routine as well as challenging cases using precision attachment. He also shared his knowledge on diagnosis and management of failure in the same.
  • Our department has rendered free public dental health services to inmates of TIHAR JAIL, New Delhi on 3rd April 2010. Necessary dental steps for fabrication of removable prosthesis were carried out for the needy.
  •  The Department has participated in various dental Camps which have been organized by the college; this is to provide dental service to the needy at very low and affordable costs. One such camp is organized in coordination with civil hospital, Jhajjar under PPA scheme from October 2011 every monday.
  •  Two other camps are being organised at primary health centre Tauru from 29th march 2012, and community health centre Nuh from 3rd april 2012 in collaboration with Haryana civil medical services. These camps are organised every week on Tuesday and Thursday.
